Query Letter: Was it Something I Said?

Many of you have New Years' Resolutions of getting your book into print in 2010. Are you ready to tackle the (gulp) QUERY LETTER?  Check out the resources below!

In celebration of the new year, GumboWriters.com will be giving away 10 free query letter services. If you win, they will write a winning query letter for you and then send it out to appropriate literary agents. This
service normally costs $900.

Not a contest person? Ok, well try this blog. I enjoy reading Query Shark. You can submit your queries and have them critiqued right on the blog. This is for fiction only!  Visit, http://queryshark.blogspot.com/

Are you more of the DIY, no-public-display-necessary type? Ok, here's another great blog that I follow, Guide to Literary Agents. They have a great post on How To Write A Query Letter To A Literary Agent.

And finally, when your all done with that query letter head over to Writer's Digest. They compiled a list of 24 Agents Who Want Your Work!  Good luck.
