Cornelia Read takes us on a dark journey with her novel The Crazy School. David Santangelo establishes a boarding school for teenagers with emotional problems. Madeline Dare joins the elite private school as a teacher. It isn't long before she begins to wonder what she has gotten herself into.

Santangelo has creative and controversial methods of treatment that some of the staff members begin to question. When death takes one of the children boarded there, faculty and students feel they have to find the truth. The more they learn about the secrets the school hides, the more confused they become. It has a history darker than any of them knew.

Ms. Read grabs your interest on the first page and keeps the suspense high. With twists in the plot that you won't see ahead of time, this book keeps you on the edge of your seat as you try to figure out who the killer is.

Readers will find themselves pulled into the story and feeling a kinship with the characters in it. The author is a master of words and weaves a chilling tale. Anyone who has an interest in suspense should definitely give this book a try.

I highly recommend it and will be passing on my copy to a friend who is an avid reader.
