Charisse has a long history of attracting Mr. Wrong. Cheaters, liars, and players line the pages of her diary. Like many of us, she is ready to give up on the dream of finding a good man, but can't quite do it.
With an attitude and plenty of spunk, Charisse is constantly battling her Achilles heel of getting involved with bad boys. Each situation seems a bit worse than the last, until the stars align and someone new crashes into her life. Could this be one of the good guys that are fabled to exist?
The lead character seems somewhat flaky at times, and a bit irresponsible. But, who of us hasn't been there at some point in our lives? Due to some sexual language and mature content, this book is not suitable for everyone.
This pleasant, light-hearted read has just enough humor to keep it entertaining and enjoyable. I would recommend The Bum Magnet

I've read this book recently. I wanted to add my two cents. It's a bit predictable. You can easily figure out the relationships between the characters before the author reveals it. For example, I figured out what Marcus did to Charisse before she did. I knew the role that Kevin played in her life before that was revealed at the end of the story. So, there were no surprises. But, this book was entertaining. It was funny and real and relatable. Meaning, somewhere in your life you have wrong across a girl like Charisse. The author is supposed to get a second installment. Will I buy it? yes because the author managed to build a solid character that she's carrying to the next book. I know of no first time author that's perfect, but I recognize when they have the potential to get better. I'm a reader that wants to go along for the ride.
