Having read a ton of mixed reviews for Die for Me, I was not quite sure what to expect when I received it for review. I can only say that I absolutely loved Amy Plum’s vision of the paranormal world. Today's paranormal and urban fantasy genres are saturated with novels containing a lot of the same old stories, but Die for Me stands out amongst its competitors.

Kate’s parents recently died and she is thrust into a new life in Paris, where she is to live with her grandparents. Kate takes the death of her parents hard and is having trouble moving on with her life. She meets a mysterious and handsome guy, Vincent, who has a secret.

Die for Me is a fantastic paranormal adventure that takes us up and down the streets of Paris. The city life is vividly described, making it feel as though you are right there with Kate as she visits her favorite coffee shop, takes a walk with her sister, or goes on a date with Vincent. The pace of the novel keeps you enthralled and dying to know what will happen next as the plot unfolds.

The paranormal details are fresh and exciting, giving readers who enjoy the genre something new to devour. The battle between good and evil rears its head, adding drama and action to an already brilliantly written romance. I highly recommend Die for Me to readers that enjoy the paranormal genre. Plum is an author to keep your eye on.
